Overview:  The Washington Capitals are seeking a Massage Therapist responsible for assisting the players with their therapy treatments. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide massage therapy based on the treatment that has been determined by Athletic training staff.
  • Maintain Player treatment records as it relates to treatments you provide.
  • Provide assistance in the athletic training room as directed by Athletic trainers.
  • Maintain a clean working environment.
  • Assist in all aspects of being a part of the training staff.
  • Attend all practices and games home and away.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
  • Other duites as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 3+ years massage experience in a professional setting.
  • Must have licenses, certifications or registration according applicable to state laws.
  • Continuing Education in ART/Sports Massage/and or Stretch therapy is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and manage business relationships in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
